What is The Function of the Lymphatic System?

The lymphatic system performs a very important role in the body. Along with the circulatory system, it has been designed to help keep the body healthy.

When hearing of lymph, or lymph fluid for the first time, the question that naturally arises is, “What is the lymphatic system?”

The lymphatic system produces and transports lymph around the body. It restores fluid to the body’s cells and to the smallest blood vessels of the body. It also carries lymphocytes to all parts of the body, including areas where there is bacterial infection.
