Dahlias Planting Depth and Spacing
Place the dahlia tuber in the pot with the growing points (eyes) facing upward. Plant it at a depth of about 4-6 inches below the soil surface. Cover with soil and water thoroughly.
Spacing: If planting multiple dahlias in the same container, ensure proper spacing between tubers to avoid overcrowding. This allows each plant to receive adequate nutrients and sunlight.
Long Blooming Period: Dahlias are known for their extended blooming season, providing continuous beauty throughout the summer and into fall. This characteristic makes them a favored choice for gardeners seeking lasting color.
